With those lillies remember that as they open to pull off the stamens with the orange powder or else you will have a stained table.

A lad of eleven is riding LL

Not on loan (don't ask, hubby is trying to behave lol), his Mum has a ned at the yard and he loves LL so is good. He has to be on the lead rein though, at my insistance. Boy is a beginner. So far LL is being a good lad for him. Boy's Mum is experienced horse lady so am confident she won't do anything daft. Boy and Mum have seen LL do his 'tying to turn himself inside out' act with daughter on, so they know what he is capable of

. Daughter rides every other day to keep him fit. Will take him hunting soon - I think he'll love it

He's goign to have to go at some point

. Daughter can now wrap her legs round him now. Keeping all crossed that the hunting will give him 'a use'. She'll take him to PC stuff as well once we get a trailer, an event which keeps getting put off due to me battering m'self. sulk.

They're lovely - you'll be out hacking again soon, just important you get well. If its any consolation, I'm missing out on lovely long hacks as well as my not-broken-boy has sore toes - I took to the settee yesterday with a HUGE bag of choccie raisins (oops) and watched Burghley again!
