I am full of admiration for people who get a good action pic of their dogs. Yesterday mine was flinging a rope toy about , I get up to get the camera, dog immediately ignores toy. Today she was helping me garden by throwing plastic plant pots about, went to get the camera, and she immediately got all coy again and wouldn't co-operate :D She's sitting posing beautifully now, whats the betting that if I get the camera .........
 
i cant get a nice pic of my loan mare with her ears forward...as soon as i get the phone or camera out she flops her ears back and looks really ugly....have tried someone tempting her with a carrot, lovely ears forward, as soon as i life the phone she puts her ears floppy again....very frustrating
 
We used to have a JRT who would pose if there was ever a camera about but we have a Rottie now who bounces around all over the place, particularly if there is any music playing ......... until the camera comes out!
 
Luna will sit and pose for the camera until the cows come home. Action shots are too hard as she just comes out as a blur.

Aled never sits and looks at the camera. The only reason he looks like he’s looking at me in this one is because I had his ball in the flinger and was holding it over my shoulder:p

I do get some brilliant IPhone photos of my two, but credit it 100% to the moving photos, if you have them switched on and then go into edit you can choose which of the moving frames to select as your photo which is fabulous!

Here is my favourite recent one of them in the snow (can you believe, taken but 8weeks ago!!)

I find it difficult to get photos of mine on their feet!! They are so lazy that they are almost always lying down!!
 
Teds is always goofy so it's not too difficult to get action shots of him!

Saying that, him and my parents whippet (the two in the photo) were playing with the same toy in the garden the other day, it was a bright red lamb soft toy. They both had it in their mouth and stood next to each other looking quite cute and as soon as I got my phone out they dropped it. Typical.

that's a belter!

I take thousands of photos of the dogs. I just sit and click click click and something usually comes out worth keeping. Thank god I'm not printing them LOL

I'd share but since Photobucket went to ***** I don't know how any more.
 
Cracking shot Amye!!! I take hundred a week and like PP click away and hope for some good ones. I'm reasonably successful using only my phone. Then I put them on my Instagram page- Doggy_Paws_indoors 😁
