This dog makes me so proud. He loves his training, although did steal the rabbit fur ball from the gamebag when I wasn’t looking! He remembered the ‘Look up’ command even though we haven’t done it for ages.

Post a picture of your dog that makes you proud, working, sleeping, just looking gorgeous!

Ah he’s gorgeous! I do miss the eagerness of a spaniel and a dummy, my ladies just don’t give me the spaniel enthusiasm!

Here are my two ladies yesterday. I can’t believe how marvellously happy our dogs can make us feel every single day. They’re not perfect but they’re just super.

I have so many proud moments with Lace, it's hard to choose but this photo shows her giving it her all at our biggest show (UKA Finals) after only a short amount of competition experience.
Could have cried when we (accidently) qualified for it and could not fault her in the slightest!

They are such beautiful looking girls. Very noble!

Sh’s gorgeous, a fab model for your collars!

This one makes me proud, he was 4 months old and on holiday to Cornwall, and provided the meeting and greeting service for visitors to the Eden Project. We sat at the entrance whilst all the family went inside and pretty much everyone of the hundreds of people going in or out stopped to pet him, including small children and groups of older school kids. He loved it, completely unfazed and very friendly. He also walked round the busy visitor centre like a complete old hand.

And this one, first time on the sea and loved it! They had an accident and the boat got flipped not too far from the shore, trapping a kid under it. My partner was working to rescue the child and then looked round to find clever puppy had swum to the shore and was stood at the waters edge barking enthusiastic encouragement at them.

This one I’m proud of what a stunning young dog he is becoming, but it also reminds me of the work ahead to ensure he is a sensible reliable dog around livestock as he is pretty intense here. So I know I will look back on this time and be proud of myself and all the work my partner and I put in to make him the best dog he can be.

Fizz at her first ever Flyball champs, her 5th ever open competition, where she ran the best (and fastest) she has ever......to the point where it lost us races but that's not the point  She has really come into herself, grown up and found something she truly loves in Flyball. She may not pick it up as quickly as the collies but my word does she try for me.

This guy is going through a major 'I'm nearly 11 months and hitting the Kevin stage' at the moment however this photo sums up how incredibly calm and sweet can be and especially when he is around my niece (brother and SIL don't want her photos on the internet so I can't show you the hilarious foot in mouth photo) :D He's a total class clown and always over enthusiastic but the second my niece starts toddling round he carefully follows her, gives her cuddles when she hugs him and is a gentle play time companion.

Please excuse the terrible quality, they're stills taken from a video. My big stoopid white dog had just crossed the finish line of the biggest race he ever did and the first thing he did was look to me (and make me cry and smack a kiss on his stoopid big head :p )

We have some fancy photos of her looking all fabulous, at shows winning rosettes etc.

But these two taken this week sum up everything I love about her. My 2 year old buried her in toys. Then he took her out a walk in a big open field a good distance from us, she is a lot stronger than him, she listened perfectly to his toddleresque commands. 4 year old utterly perfect working pet cocker spaniel.

That's an amazing pic LW :D

All the dogs on this thread are so clean and serene. So I feel the need to lower the tone....

Someone went digging in the muck heap. This picture actually doesn't do the level of grim her head was justice. She was vigorously showered immediately after this pic

My four ready to come home after a long walk on Tuesday morning. The two with the white faces are "failed fosters" I couldn't bear to part with them so they've stayed.

We took Aled and Luna to a little local fun show last weekend. The weather was atrocious and Aled wasn’t enjoying it at all, so the OH took him home. I love this pic that someone took of Luna though.

That's a fab photo-spot the spaniel!

LW, I love the mutual cat/dog adoration!

Loving the big handsome heads on the ‘failed’ fosters. I’d be the same, I’d have dozens!

Scruffy terrierxevery house needs one!

Theresa, another floof monster!

Gorgeous photos from everyone. Loving those dogs, doesn't it show what a range of extras they bring to our lives.

They are just gorgeous! What's their story? Love me a fat head!

They are two bitches and totally devoted to each other. My understanding is that they were passed around numerous times and for the past few months had been living in a horrid place chained up with very little shelter. They were reported to the dog warden who persuaded the owner to hand them over to rescue. They both stank when they arrived and were quite thin. It is very sad as sometime in their life they must have been loved as they are very well trained and socialised. Not once have they been interested in my cats, horses, hens or the neighbour's sheep, they love everyone and get on great with my two other dogs. I had not had much experience of this type of dog before but am totally smitten as to how gentle and affectionate they are. Everyone who has met them thinks they are great. It was never my intention to have four dogs but I couldn't bear to part with them. They have been model house guests!
