Does anyone know anywhere I can find these? I've found some piping cord that I can sew on rather than spending £50+ on a custom bonnet when the piping is only £2/meter.
The only plain ones I've found so far are Eskadron so any help appreciated. :)

I was thinking about doing that - wasn't sure if the bonnet would stand up to having the piping taken off but like you said, at £6 it doesn't really matter if its a disaster.

if only the plain equiport ones weren't so expensive - they're exactly what I'm looking for

HKM then get piping/cord from hobbycraft. My mum does them and it takes her 5 mins. She is fab at sewing and they look as good as equiport! She charges £15 for one and is still making a small profit which shows you that Equiport etc are robbing you blind!!

I deconstructed a Rambo one which coped fine :D I wanted something really plain but the HKM ones were too small across the top of the head.

Awesome, cheers guys :D

I have an Equiport one for Beau but I don't want to spend another £50-odd quid on a fly hat. I managed to find the same piping cord that Timbi has on his posh show rug so I thought I'd make him a matching fly hat for Blair rather than buying him one. Even if I end up buying the plain Eskadron one I'm still paying less than half the price of the Equiport.

I have a HKM one I can practice on so fingers crossed it looks ok. :)
