Plaiting - how long does it take you?

30 mins for mane & tail with bands if its for hunting. Up to an hour (LOL) with thread if I am actually supposed to look good.

Normally about 30mins. But if the horse has a thick mane or is a fidget it can take longer.

I must be the worlds slowest ever platter!. Oh the shame

I have to put 19 plaits in my horse long neck and with bands it takes me about 50-mins an hour.

I shall only be allowed to do dressage when im allowed to ride again so im going to have to practise the big dressage plaits.

Dutch used to get really excited so would move quite a lot but it used to take me about 20 mins per horse. It may take you longer, perhaps you do the most beautiful plaits though, dressage plaits will be easier!

I never plaited before 'cause I've got a welsh section D... I do now though when it's affiliated.

OH's mare with thin mane - 10 mins

my lad with thick, wiry bog brush - 50 mins - have to put in min of 19 plaits even to do chunky dressage ones with mane approx 3" long

I'm a perfectionist though and can't stand even a hair sticking up
