A while ago someone put a link up of a fab company which made plastic mounting blocks of all different sizes, and now I can't find it

Does anyone know the link please?

Thanks

Careful which 1 you get as I had 1 last year which my horse stamped on and it split in to very sharp shards of plastic. Luckily his legs were not injured.

Robinsons do exactly the same as thew safety equine one - a 2-step sturdy plastic mounting block. I bought one in a raspberry colour. Great for mounting, balancing stuff on, sitting on to drink your tea, cleaning tack, all sorts!

We have a wooden pne, made from stron plywood.
Plpatic cna be brittle when its freezing cold and soggy when summer temps hit 90.
A good wide wooden one will double as plaiting/groomng/cliiping step and can be made a bit higher for 16h plus horses

I got ours from there the three step without a hand rail and in bright pink.

Been great so far and has stood up to the odd clonk by a hoof with no problems.

Thanks for your replies, but none of the above are what I'm looking for

It was this company that did LOTS of different mounting blocks, from tiny ones to MASSIVE ones all in very strong plastic.

Argh, it's so annoying when you can't find what you're looking for.

I would love your instructions for making a wooden mounting block. I have a new percheron and I can't get my leg over! so to speak, without outside assistance. If I were to provide my other half with some plans he might be persuaded to make me one. What do you think?

Persuaded him to make it and it took most of the day! First model wobbled when you got on it so the second attempt was re-inforced and it's brilliant. My horse is getting used to it now and I managed to get on board today without anyone holding the front end. Brilliant thanks for the instructions.

We manufacture 6 sizes of very strong plastic mounting blocks, from a round 1 tread version (can also be turned upside down and used for tack storage) at £29.75 delivered through to a 4 tread version that's 820mm high and costs £125 delivered. We have sold lots on EBAY and the feedback has been excellent. Our blocks are always available and we offer 7 colours as standard including pink and purple.

Our tel is 0161 765 2013 and our new site will be ready soon - www.horse-blocks.co.uk. Alternatively, email me and i'll forward full details and prices straight away, we can also deliver from stock in most cases!!!

Hi Mrs T! Would you please e-mail me the instructions for making a wooden mounting block? My Sister has asked for one for Christmas and she'd love a hand-made one. Many thanks!

Hello,
Just a quick note to say I got an £8 set of steps from Ikea and they are brilliant for mounting, plaiting etc. I've got a 17.2 horse so steps are sadly vital ;-)
