Up in the clouds
Some of you know that my drama queen needed 3 vet visits in 24 hrs last week because her tummy HUUUUUURT. The first visit was just after midnight, the other two were daytime visits.
Each visit involved a double injection (painkiller and muscle relaxant) she was intubated and examined internally, on the 3rd visit she had 2 vets put their arms inside her. There were also several phone-calls to/from the vets and the daytime vet also spoke to a specialist equine practice about her.
I got the bill yesterday and was really pleased to see that it is less than £500. Bearing in mind that I stopped using this practice in the past, and have complained loud and long, because of their billing system, which always seemed to overcharge/double-charge, I was very impressed. And I'm delighted to say that Drama Queen is fine now.
I shall actually be telling people now how cheap this practice is, lol!
