My poor boy is having a time of it. His heels have been left to grow without proper trim and toes to long last time. He's now lame and worse since having a radical trim a week ago (advised by vet). Had X-rays today nothing really seen. Vet seems to think that clamping may be responsible for lameness - front shoes coming off. I really just want to find a really good remedial farrier that has the horses best interests at heart.
