She's suffering a reaction to her flu and tet jab that was 1pm yesterday. Last night her temp stayed around 106.5, came down to 103 after danilon this morning, but this evening hit a new high of 107.9. Needless to say I am in regular contact with my fabulous vet and have been checking her every 3 hours. At her last check she was down to 'only' 103.5 so I am about to try and get some sleep for an hour or two.

H&H vibes very much appreciated.

Bless her...and you too. Hope you get some sleep and fingers crossed for good news in the morning - keep us posted when you can.

Thank you all. She's down to 'only' 102! :-D it's the lowest she's been so we are def going in the right direction. I've given both girls hay and going to get some more sleep!

Victoria - no she's had them ever since I bought her as a 4 year old (she's now 9). However 1 1/2 years ago she had a major allergic reaction to something she ate and we almost lost her. Her temp then got up to 105.5 and we still don't know how she pulled through. (Amazing vet!!!) As a result we don't get concerned with her until her temperature is over 202.5. This is her first flu & tet since then (last year was just flu, or is it tet that's done yearly? Brain not working) as last year was the single jab. Personally I think she wanted the weekend off and likes to scare me!!

Update - 7pm this evening her temperature is finally back to normal! She's bang on 100! :D Thank you all for the vibes, they've worked before and they've worked again!
