He is 14.2, 7 and probably in between light to moderate work. I don't want to fill him full of anything high energy as he certainly doesn't need it but I'm wondering if what he gets fed has anything to do with this as he can be 'feisty'. I'm not overly educated when it comes to horse feed he is just fed what i've been told.
on a morning he will get breakfast which is spillers conditioning fibre, speedi beet, roughtex which is a cool mix and a vit and min supplement.
he gets turned out for 7-8hours a day on average grass
then at night a large haynet with half and half hay/haylage
treat ball with baileys fibre plus nuggets in
any advice welcomed
