My lovely & irreplaceable Taz was PTS on Sunday, in the 4 short years I had owned him I helped him through Uveitis, Laminitis and finally a throat problem. I loved him with all my heart, he left a very big hole in my life. I was looking through horsemart on Monday when the 2nd horse I saw caught my eye. And he was local to me so I went to have a look. Well he is now with me on a weeks trial. So far he is perfect, very different from Taz but a nice gentle horse. I hoped that Taz would be with me for many years & probably be my last horse. Sadly that was not to be. I've had comments like " Had another already" and " It's too soon " And it's making me feel like I have done something wrong. I gave Taz the best I could give and will do the same for my new horse, he will never take the place of Taz but he will given the same love & care. Some will say I might have been hasty buying the first horse I look at but he is perfect for me in every way, which is too good an opportunity to miss. Do you think i'm being silly taking any notice of these people, or do you think they are right in what they are saying?
