Please rain!! Has anyone been lucky enough to have any?!

Lancashire - It has rained everyday for 18 days. If not all day, we've had a good dumping most days.

Muddy gate ways :(, horses out in rugs :( and wet pooped off owners :(.

Be careful what you wish for :D.

ditto ^^^ lol im sick of the rain and the wind!!! its horizontal here so no chance of getting out for a ride. just no happy medium :(

Not sure where in Essex you are, but where I am, we have had the odd shower, which 10 minutes later, you wouldn't think it had rained. Our field is exactly like Llewellyn's. I am praying every night for rain. Last night was windy, grey and downright horrible. We had a couple of spits then it all cleared up again.

I'm in Nazeing, Yes last night was same, windy and drizzle! Last Weds evening though had about an hour and half of rain.

We've had rain on and off for the last couple of weeks but not enough to make a vast difference to the ground (still pretty hard!) although the grass has definitley picked up!

How weird! We are in Epping, and as I said, hardly had anything. We had some rain last Wednesday, but not enough to make any difference to the ground. A few weeks ago, friend was at yard and text me to say loads of lightning and she was getting scared poo picking. I was at home 4 miles away, and hadn't seen anything.

Rain, it hasnt stopped here :(. We had a lovely week a couple of weeks ago and since then its been awful. My horse was shivering one day and Ive never known him to shiver. We then had the gale force winds ... with the rain.
Today is a bit better. Its so odd isnt it the North/South divide.

We had quite a nice shower yesterday evening (around 6.00ish) in the east of Cambridgeshire that lasted a fair while. I think we also had some rain last night, considering when I left the field yesterday evening I had a white horse, and when I came back in the morning I had a brown horse

Sorry. That was because I decided to cycle home from work. Started the moment I left.

I am mid Norfolk - Had about 20mins or so of rain last night - so windy though I think it all blew away before iot hit the ground. This drought is because we resseded a paddock! Happened last year too - god job we have a bore hole and irrigators.
