I want to suggest that we give my share a bib clip. He is in medium work 6 days a week (me and another sharer) when the weather allows. He has not been ridden for a couple of weeks due to snow and ice/ frozen school. But when he is worked (like today) he is getting very sweaty very quickly and takes forever to dry off (with a cooler). He is quite hairy for an arab as he is a chunkier sort, and he has plenty of flab on him from living out with haylage 24/7.
Unfortunately i have been hinting at his owner to test the water and she just said 'it's because he's so wooly'. Which obviously i know. Should i push for a tiny bib clip, just his underside of neck, chest and girth area? Or should i just deal with the sweatyness and hang around the yard for over an hour after i have ridden to allow him to dry (mostly)?
He is currently in mw-hw rug and nice and warm. He can't have a neck cover on though, went bald last year so had them all removed.
