Point Two Air Jackets

Hi. I've been told by Point Two that my jacket bought just over 6 years ago will cost £173 to service. Is this not an extortionate amount. Makes the jacket worthless!

Hi Maureen just read your post, jackets that are not serviced annually which keeps your warranty valid do not then get any updates carried out. Point Two will replace any old or faulty parts if your vest is under warranty.
Even if your vest has not been inflated in the year it should still be serviced to ensure it operates correctly. The trigger system has moving parts that will need re greasing.
People buy 2nd hand vests and if they have not been maintained correctly the old parts will need replacing to bring the vest back up to standard.
