Just a bit of fun,Ill start...

My girlie and I were walking down the track to the field one morning and she stoped half way down, turned looked at me and squelled then stamped her feet I looked and her and sad WTF was that then she looked at me and did it again I said nothing and so she turned back and walked on down the track

So so random but I guess you had to be there lol

I was hacking out with my very spooky mare who was having a particularly spooky day yesterday. We had to go past a herd of goats in a field and one bleated at her and she nearly dropped to her knees, it was hilarious!

She's 20 years old (old enough to know better). Then we came across a plastic bag and she stood and shook until I convinced her ti wasn't going to bite her ankles!

Rode horse yesterday in the school and she suddenly did a massive snort and nearly sat down - the water barrel had been moved to the other wide of the water trough and was clearly going to eat her

Ponio freaked out last night because I'd replaced her lick in her stable. It was the scariest thing ever then two minutes later was plugged in having a good old lick

Last time it really poured with rain, i decided not to leave my horses out for too long (although rugged up) and so i put some haynets in the garden to get rained on before i got them in. When they came in there was this almight fuss about two haylets lying on the floor. The both stood looking at them and snorting for ages before putting themselves in their stables where they thought they might be safe ! ! I cant believe they were scared of haynets they are the two greediest pigs in the world normally

Got lost in a wood on sat after my fella said he knew a short cut (should of known better!!) and my 4 year old was climbing fallen trees, walls and just kept going over everything and anything.
Until we got to a puddle across the path and that was it, no more could not deal with a 2" deep puddle but everything else he took in his stride!! Strange little ponio.

I laugh EVERYTIME I see Benji...he is just SUCH a funny horse...he doesn't really have to do anything in particular.

My pony made me laugh the other day...I fed her and went off to check fencing etc, came back and found her like this

i had just come into the yard from schooling, ws just telling YO how gd he had been and was still sitting on him, he did a massive yawn and did a massive stretch like a dog does when it wakes up and gets out of its basket! he put his front end on the floor and stood up again...really weird and made me giggle!
also left him tied to rail having dinner in the yard whilst i was mucking out, he knocked dinner flying stood on it and tried to eat it from under his own hooves, got frustraated, promptly whacked his head on the rail and looked round as if to say that didnt happen! (naughty mummy stood and laughed at him!!)

My youngster jumped 6 feet and stood at the back of the stable quivering - why? Because his neighbour coughed and farted at the same time
laugh.gif

Whilst I was putting on his front brushing boots, he looked down and twanged my bra strap really hard with his teeth. I am not sure which one of us jumped more, but I could not stop laughing for about 10 mins.

FARTING!! I know it is really juevenile.......but Monty farts constantly (he's an old windy boy) and it really does tickle me!

I like it especially when he does the cough-fart combo and then spooks himself and bolts forward. Highly amusing!

Out hacking the other day when coming towards us was a
Very large tractor with a huge trailer, it passed and all was ok
Then came another exactly the same, it passed and all was ok
Then a lorry with a digger on it, it passed and all was ok
Then there was big digger, it passed and all was ok
Then there was a little old man, with his little dog on a disabled scooter, this was NOT ok he went bananas and pooped himself!!

She was absolutely fine

We have the tyres because the field is a 5 acre slope so we put the feed buckets in them to stop them rolling down the field.
Jasmine is sooooo passionate about her feed that she rolls while eating...he knees just buckle. I assume she did her usual and happened to stick her nose in the tyre and am sure had she put her haed down a bit more it would have slid off...silly pony

Got this vision now of you tacking your horse up in your underwear, bizarre, i don't even know you

Edit bad spelling!!

when i took my 4 year old daughter to pony club for the 1st time i was leading her around with all the other lead rein ponies and her pony coughed and farted at the same time - to which my daughter promptly shouted 'he farted' and collapsed in fits of giggles - all of the mums laughed, not just me and even the instructer laughed! certainly broke the ice!

My pony is a HUGE drama Queen and a massive diva in general
grin.gif

Today she decided to throw a strop and storm off down the field in a huff because i was trying to put some fly repellant on her (this generally is never an issue
tongue.gif
)

Then i made matters worse by trying to take her photo (She HATES having her photo taken
grin.gif
) Cue, more storming off down the field
grin.gif

She then did a comedy slip in the mud whilst standing by her water, i couldn't stop laughing....she didn't seem to find it funny though!

We have now made up....i gave her a apple

Was riding down our lane the other morming and met one of the neighbours walking their dog - usually not a problem, but on this occasion it had just returned from the vets and was wearing a massive white plastic collar to stop it licking its wound. My mare stood, snorted and then tried to bolt back home (only in trot). I was laughing so much it was ages before I could stop her !

Ooo just remembered, 2 days is a long time ago!!, when we got back from said hack i put him in his stable, untacked him apart from his brushing boots, went in the tackroom for 5 mins, went to take his boots off and he had already taken them off and posted them over the stable door for me to pick up, very helpful don't you think!!

I keep my horses in two fields separated by a dyke. There is a wide bridge with gates on what we leave open. We also graze a flock of sheep with the horses.

The other day the sheep were in one field and the horses were in the other. The sheep decided they wanted to go into the other field just as the horses decided to gallop across the bridge into the field the sheep were in. The horses got through ok but my little shetland, Coco couldn't make the bridge in time get caught up in the middle of the flock ended up doing an about turn and going back the way she came and ended up being carried along by this flock of sheep!

By the time she stopped she was one very flustered and confused shetland pony!

Was highly amusing at the time but I suppose you had to be there to really appreciate it.

Indy...LOL at your shetland, I could just sort of see that happening as you described, very funny!!

My Exmoor pony, this morning, he's got an over reach cut on his heel. Bear in mind was he wild off the moors, so still a bit spooky. I lifted his foot, gently sprayed some antiseptic on the cut, and walked away. When I looked back he was still standing waving his hoof in the air, and he was gazing into the distance with a puzzled look on his face that said 'I KNOW something just happened, it DID, I was there, but WHAT??? And what's that funny smell? And why am I standing on 3 legs, and why is Mum LAUGHING AT ME???'

Hacking out a few days ago, we were on a narrow path and there was a plastic sack half buried across the path, George stopped dead and snorted at it and didn't want to go over it. He then looked round at me and I told him it was safe and over it he went - bless him it did make me giggle.

Ari shook like a dog while we were out on a hack last week - he just poked his nose forward and then shook all the way along his body, finishing with a fine flick of his tail! OH was laughing his head off and I was just clinging on for dear life
