On Saturday I trooped off with some friends and three of my ex racehorses for the ROR's Have a go at Polocrosse day.
We probably had a massive advantage over some of the other people as my horses play horseball but I was still a bit nervous as I got on. This wasn't helped by the fact that the Sam is 17.2 so the ball took some reaching!
We started off with a game of tag on horseback and I think our instructors were highly amused by how competitive we were. Next we did some throwing, catching and picking up, with varying degrees of success!
The boys were exceptionally well behaved and loved it! We finished off playing a mini game which was taken very seriously by everyone but we all ended up in fits of laughter!
I would recommend Polocrosse to anyone who fancies doing something different with their horses. We have definitely all got the bug now and can't wait to have another go!
My three legends!
