Send him my best wishes - I can sympathise with the bone grinding!
and the oh-so-cheerful nurses of Gloucestershire Royal!
I think we all know that he'll be back on board in no time (and definitely alot sooner than he should!!), so tell him not to get too down about it.

What an awful thing to happen. I hope he is on the road to recovery soon. It makes us all realise that accidents can happen at anytime however experienced and careful you are.
Best wishes from me.
As someone who also got screwed back together this year after horse caused broken bone tell him he will be better before he knows it, even though it WON'T feel like that now!!!!
GET WELL SOON FROM CARTHORSE, RAFI AND HORSEGROUPIE. She can't seem to get on here at all but asked me to let you know what was happening. It is a nightmare to get on this site at the moment.
Claire broke her leg a couple of years back and had it plated both sides and loads of screws [try to pinch an x ray to show everyone,lol]At least if they are pinned or plated you don't have such a big plaster and you can somehow ride but don't fall off [they get very cross]
I'm here, it was a case of try try and try again but I eventually got on! Thanks Carthorse!
Get Well Soon Mat (it really is an extreme way of getting out of doing the chores though, you could have just told jamie it was his turn to do the dishes
)
I really don't recommend the food at Gloucester Royal so make sure you get food bought in, mind you they didn't feed me for the first 5 days of my stay, it was clear fluids only so by the time they let me eat, anything tasted good!
Lots of gentle hugs and healing vibes from the Teddy camp, I really don't think Teddy will mind having a long holiday, he really is quite ok about snoozing away the time til you are up to working again!
