Bit of a trauma out walking.
He just went to have a look at a rabbit hole and has dropped his favourite has to come everywhere ball down it!
Now being the useless owner I am there is no way I’m sticking my arm in (not 100% sure it’s rabbit not rat)
He suggested we sacrifice a terrier for the job but they couldn’t give a damn about his ball anyway so they too are next to useless.
I’ve managed to drag him away after a sad farewell but I’ll guarantee every time we come this way we will have to stop and be sad

You best get back there with a pair of strong leather gauntlets and a spade or you will spend the rest of your natural life dragging him home by the collar.
