Bit of a trauma out walking.

He just went to have a look at a rabbit hole and has dropped his favourite has to come everywhere ball down it!
Now being the useless owner I am there is no way I’m sticking my arm in (not 100% sure it’s rabbit not rat)
He suggested we sacrifice a terrier for the job but they couldn’t give a damn about his ball anyway so they too are next to useless.

I’ve managed to drag him away after a sad farewell but I’ll guarantee every time we come this way we will have to stop and be sad 😬🤣

Ah but it won’t be HIS red ball 🔴
He's not all that fussy, If i jump around saying how amazing it is he will soon agree, as long as its the correct variety! He's fairly easily entertained.
Poor Bert! How could you just leave it there? Shocking neglect!

I would suggest you take Mr P with you next time, so he can shove his arm down there...
Mr P does not do walking, not for any reason, well He has been known to walk home from the pub but even thats rare. It also involved crawling through sharp stuff so would be a double no!

We went with our long bbq tong- apparently they are quite scary!

Turns out we can't quite remember which hole in the hedge we need and each squeezing gap seems to have about 10 rabbit holes behind it. So it was a fail unfortunatley! I found them on Amazon, this is really exciting because he will have a box to open and tear into tiny bits aswell!

Win win!

Can't beat a good game of "chew the shoe" - my ex-husband had the perfect pair of very expensive leather deck shoes my lurcher devoured 🙈 🤣
The good thing is he only carries, I think he's our first labrador that hasn't been a chewer. The previous 3 were terrible until about 2/2.5 yrs but he has never broken anything other than things given like toys or boxes. *fingers x'd
