Zoom has been VERY fizzy the last two weeks....even more than normal 
Around this time every year she has violent headshaking fits. It is very hard to distinguish between the headshaking and the normal, jiggy-jog Zoomy however last night she gave me a clear indication that she is very uncomfortable.
I ended up getting off and walking the last mile or so of the sponsored ride on Sunday since she was leaping and plunging and being mad. Last night I attempted to go for a WALK down the lane with some friends. The poor girl was grunting and threatening to rear the whole time
So I have decided to give her two weeks off and then gently try again since it never seems to last very long (seems to be massively exacerbated by the spring grass).
As I will be going to uni in September we are pretty much out every weekend playing, i want to make the most of having a horse this summer. I am going to a sponsored ride on Sunday and my friend has very kindly offered me her boy. I am so used to riding Zoomy.....would it be crazy to still go? I have ridden him one before and will be riding him on Thursday. He's also been out with us a couple of times to sponsored rides. He is VERY baby (he's only 4) but so sweet and willing.

Do you think it's a silly idea to go? Do cobs come with instruction manuals? Will I be able to walk on Monday after years of riding tbs AKA rashers of bacon??
