in response to the comments about it possibly being a different horse - greys and palominos in my personal experience change colour/shades during teh summer and the winter, so it is very possibly the same horse. xx
I sold my 14 yr old 16.1hh ID x TB mare who was an ideal all rounder for £1250 inc all tack, rugs etc simply because I wanted a good home for her
She is now with an over the moon 14 yr old girl who does nothing but gloat about her when she speaks to me I also got my friesian filly for £2000 ... all good deals imo
The market is full of decent bargain horses atm
I think there certainly are bargains about - it's just a pity that I loved Hugo so much, I paid a bit over the top for him (maybe?), although as YO says, it's not too much if he's the right horse.
And likewise, people want to sell perfectly good horses, but at this time of year it is difficult, so they have kept the price low. I think it might be worth a look - I would have gone to see him if he was nearer me and I hadn't found my Hugo already!
Sorry I don't like it and there seems to be something odd aboout the wording of the advert, i wouldn't waste the petrol going to see it especially with the weather as it is
If they rang up to place the ad that would explain the mistakes. That publication is notorious for making mistakes! However I'm firmly of the opinion that theres better around for cheaper, but it depends how much hassle you want. I'm a cheap skate and like to buy for pennies so I put up with trawling ads and viewing dross. I'm also very negotiable on what I buy. I like to make my own so prefer younger cheaper horses, or older ones with issues so long as they are quality
