Just hoped for some opinions from all you knowledgeable lot on two possible horses. For a little bit of background, my ideal horse would be:
a confidence giver to do a bit of everything. Build my confidence SJ/XC/ODE etc
Must not fizz up too much in company/fast hacks etc
Be sharp and brave enough for playing horseball with him/her as well and perhaps try hunting in time..?
Absolute max 4k to spend - would want tack/wardrobe inc ideally for that though.
and if we're talking really perfect, then ideally no greys/coloureds/bright bay! < just personal preference!!
I've had a share horse for several years, and ridden many others for friends etc but this will be my first "own" horse.
Anyway, have been to see one which was lovely and I will be going up again over Christmas:

my only issue was that she was very sensitive and light in the hand, and very tense to begin with. the current owners assured me that she is like this with all new riders, and is very much a one-person horse. to be fair, when I watched the owner ride she was much more settled and dropped into an outline in trot (not so much in canter...!). they seems v honest and said they'd want me to come and see her a lot of times to really get to know her and get her going nicely before considering buying. I just think maybe a horse that is that sensitive would really hate horseball? any opinions?
The other option I havent' seen yet, but will email the owner again later today. He's only 5 though, which was a little younger than I had planned...

Hope those links work...!
Anyway, any opinions on either, or alternative suggestions are very welcome!
Candy canes if you got this far!
