Hi, I am currently looking at a horse to buy. He is lovely and just what I'm looking for. However he has in the past had a very small (pea sized) lump removed from the outside thigh of one of his legs (was not affecting him in any way but wanted to find out what it was). It was suspected to be a sarcoid and sent off to the lab, results came back as inconclusive but suggested that it may have been a sarcoid (3 sections tested, one looked like possible sarcoid, the others didn't). He has had no sarcoids or other lumps/bumps appear since. How would this stand me for getting him insured? Are they likely to exclude sarcoids? I've heard of people who have had any skin condition excluded if their horse had sarcoid treatment, is this a possibility? Any experiences/advice welcome!
