Great Britain sit in the gold medal position after dressage. Posting a new record team dressage score at a World Championships.

(10:18) - First one on course for the Brits will be the reigning World Champion Ros Canter with Lordships Graffalo.

(10:26) - Yasmin Ingham is riding Banzai Du Loir, as the individual for Great Britain. Yasmin is making her senior team debut. They currently hold the bronze medal position before cross country.

(11:42) - The 2022 Badminton champions Laura Collett and London 52, hold the silver medal position after dressage - 11:42

(13:34) - Olympic individual silver medallists Tom McEwen and Toledo De Kerser, are tipped for another individual medal here at Pratoni. They currently hold sixth place overnight.

(15:06) - World number one Oliver Townend rides Ballghmor Class, and are the last out on course for the British team.

(14:18) - The German team will be strong contenders as former World Champion Michael Jung sits in the individual gold medal position after the first phase with fischerChipmunk FRH.

Camera work not great at the moment. Seeing a lot of galloping horses and not much jumping. Hopefully it will improve.

It's all looking a bit easy considering it's a world championship. I know they have to make it 4* for the lower nations but are there lower nations there? It's like lowering the top golf competitions or the world cup.

Not too easy from where I’m sitting only the very good are getting any where near the time , certainly not going to be a dressage competition

The undulating nature of the course is certainly putting a premium on fitness, even the jumping efforts are a definite step down from 5*.

It does always seem a bit weird that the World Champs at eventing is dialled down in difficulty compared to the top international events to make it more accessible to less experienced nations.

Agree, as the top level it should be 5* didn't it used to be? Just feels a little underwhelming same for the Olympics

Saw on Facebook eventing uk are asking people to watch on bbc as at the time had only 985 people watching . Switched over from clip my horse , it’s identical coverage and commentary to increase the figures to support the sport.

That’s the website viewing figures, it won’t include those of us watching on tv
