Hi, I had sort of decided to avoid replying to rude messages. I don’t understand what’s strange about this?My spidey senses are going off like the clappers.
First time owner but is apparently experienced with youngsters, rides ex racehorses all the time but wants a very safe allrounder horse, won't consider a horse that occasionally needs a gag.
Great to know, thank you so much xI've seen it a fair few times at the livery yard I worked on. They don't tend to get silly until after the weight and muscle comes back on, because they feel weak. Once they feel strong they change.
Thank you. I don’t really understand what is weird about what I’ve said!!! Strange that adults still bully each other from behind a screen! Is there really any need for this?

That’s lovely! I bet you absolutely adored each other. At least you asked for advice and the fact there is that advice around. When I got my first horse many years ago no way would anyone have bought him. He was like a hat rack. But he was my horse. He was difficult as hell but he taught me everything. I was so pleased I had a horse. We dealt with his many problems and basically just got on with it. He was better off with me than anyone else as i knew no different.
If I had put up a photo and said would you buy this horse 100% no way even myself now would say that.
No bullying, just you've ignored a posts from a couple of us in the county, I could have offered more assistance once I knew which drag hunt you went out with or were planning to, as know a good number of folk in both, and others over county borders. JenJ also has contacts in the county too.Thank you. I don’t really understand what is weird about what I’ve said!!! Strange that adults still bully each other from behind a screen!
I have replied to 90% of comments. There’s been a lot! I am not on my phone 24/7 so I apologise if im missing a few comments.I don't get this whole post... asked for opinions and then ignored... if you want to spend 9.5k on an exracer who clearly has issues going on, then you carry on, it's your money to spend and i hope you are very happy with your dream horse. There are plenty of people offering great advice on here and suggestions but all ignored. a long career in racing will have a lot of wear and tear on joints too, so expect to medicate them. He's not high mileage in terms of making it to the race course, but any long gaps will indicate time off for injury etc and not a holiday. But hey.... what do we all know? ....
Haven’t ignored. Been lots of comments to keep track of. Sorry if you feel like that and thank you for your help. As I’ve said numerous times, I appreciate the advice. No bullying, just you've ignored a posts from a couple of us in the county, I could have offered more assistance once I knew which drag hunt you went out with or were planning to, as know a good number of folk in both, and others over county borders. Anyways, I'm out.
Good luck with purchase.
Omg the sensitivity on this forum!! Never shot you down. I definitely agree he’s not right hence why I’ve been worried! I wondered if the way he was stood made it hard to tell.I said this was an issue on earlier photos and shot down. Said it was how the horse was standing.
Thanks for posting this
I have done this many timesWhen I eventually buy another I’ll either send videos to my physio or pay her to come with me and pretend she’s my friend!

Anyway let’s all just leave this conversation. I’m not buying the horse thanks to all of the very helpful advice which, for the hundredth time, I VERY MUCH APPRECIATE!!!
Happy Christmas
