could you let me know which size for a 16.3 tb, medium or large? or how long they are, really, would be great. i don't want to order them and then have the faff of sending them back if they're the wrong size. thankyou. either the Extreme Hind or the Kevlar Hind boots. thanks!

The extreme ones are the better ones IMHO! Would prob say medium, my 16.2hh with good amount of bone has mediums which are snug but fine

I've got Premier Equine event boots and I bought them at Badminton about 3 years ago, so I'm not sure what they are. They have the protective hard bit that runs down the front of the canon bone, is that them?

I bought large but they were for my old t/b who had longer legs than Boo, so if anything they are a tad too big for Boo who is 16.1hh. I would say they are prob fine for 16.3hh t/b.

Hope this helps

Actually, I've just looked on the website and neither of the one's that you are looking at are what I have, they have obviously changed them since I have bought them.

Oh and i've only got the hind boots.
However, I would always buy hind boots with canon bone protection in them.

Deeds has the airflows in a large and are plenty big enough for her - may be too long for Katy - come borrow them to try on if you like before you buy

I have just bought the Extreme Hinds for my 5 yr old KWPN gelding. He wears large and they fit him perfectly (if a little snugly!), he has quite long legs, and is nearly 17hh.

He does however fit in the Medium NEW Maximum Performance fronts i currently have him in, although they are a bit tight! Will invest in some fronts when i have a little bit more money!!

I've got the air cooled ones in Medium on a 16.1 TB, they are fine in length but the velcro straps could do with being 1/2 inch longer. That said, they fit well and don't slip etc.

I also have a pair of thier boots from a few years ago in large and they were definitley too big for my mare, I think they are pretty generous size wise.

I have a 16hh TB and the medium fits perfectly length-wise but I wouldn't want it to be any tighter round the width. I'd get a large if I was you.

Got hte extremes in large (hinds) and there great on my 16.2 (nearly!!) cob x TB, they also fit great on my 16.3hh Irish x TB and he has quite skinny lil legs

I'd go for the large. Have medium ones on a 16.1hh TB with a bit of bone and they're a bit on the small side.
