J was turned away in his heavyweight rambo wug, but worried about him due to the lack of neck and the fact that he was clipped, so order the PE stormbuster for him.

It arrived today and it doesnt feel as heavy as the rambo at all, where as it should be warmer

Someone please reassure me that he will be warm enough in in, worried about swapping them over now

How old is the rambo? Could is just be that the technology of the fillings has moved on?
I know I had a 450g rug a few years ago that was incredibly heavy and cumbersome, but a 450g rug now is much lighter?

i have the pe 450g. honestly, it is absolutely toasty. i think it is the material of the outer being more smooth or something. honestly, don't worry, my woosey tb wore it last year and was well cozy in it. even when it was heavy snow and below freezing.

I just put one on my old mare last week and thought it felt quite thin. However it has been brilliant this weekend - no leaking at all and she is warm and comfy - better than her old Fal and I love Fals. I am sure he will be fine.

I bought a middle weight premier rug and he is really warm in it and he is clipped. Hes only out during the day . I love all their rugs and recommend them to everyone.

I got a PE stormbuster 450g for my old boy last year, he really feels the cold and it keeps him lovely and warm, I have found it to be really generously cut and keeps the draughts out well.

I have a PE 450g for my wussy TB, and *touch wood* it's always kept her toasty and dry, and despite her best efforts its pretty much unscathed from frolics in the field
