Just wondering Ive got about £120 worth and had them for years never won a penny!! has anyone won with a small amount ? should I cash them in or add to them?????

I've had £500 for 4 years+ and never had anything from them! I keep being tempted to cash them in and put them towards a new dressage saddle, but then I always think... £1m jackpot! Cha-ching!

I have had £25 worth since the 70s, My Dad got them for me, in that time I have had £100 win. Which came about 12 months after he had died, around the christmas time, which was nice! all though bitter sweet!

There is of course the chance that you could win £1m, however...
For about a year I had £20,000 worth and in that year, I won approx £50 per month. At the time, interest rates were much higher, so I would have made more money leaving it in the building society.
The money was to pay towards an extension on our house and has almost gone. I have had around £1800 in bonds now for about 3 years. I have won £75 :-(
So... the likelyhood of you winning anything with £120 is probably very low, I'm afraid.

I'm usually not very lucky but I bought £500 approx 6 months ago and won £25 within 2 months.

I just think of it that i would probably get about £1.00 interest in a bank so why not take a gamble!

I have a tatty bit of paper saying I have £1 from the 60's (late). Maybe its won something in all those years, perhaps I should check!!

You can check on line to see if you have won.

Like most people I 've got some I've had for years and years (since i was at school) and got all excited when I found out you could check your winnings on line. Surely after all those years there had to be something?

No!! Absolutely nothing!!!

My husband and I had £30,000 each ( that's the maximum amount you can have) last year between us all we won was £660 - that's on £60,000. I sold mine earlier this year.

My daughter has some - I think £500 worth initially, and wins regularly £100 or so every 6 months, and we reinvest in more for her.

I've £100 worth, held since the 70s never won a penny, yet my younger brother has won quite often with his.

My £1 Premium Bond won me £25 back in the late 1960s. With the proceeds my mother bought me a piece of Georgian silver which is now worth several hundred pounds as well as the games Scrabble and Monopoly.

I have a considerable number of bonds now, I'm not sure how many off the top of my head as they are automatically reinvested but most months I get another certificate through - all little ones though.

My daughter's "inheritance" money went into Premium Bonds and I was slated right royally for doing it. I have had the last laugh though, we got just over a 5% return on them.

When my grandfather died I used his money to buy the max amount and get at least £25 a month better than bank interest rates. Reminds me of him when I get the cheques. First payment used to be £50. I am keeping my as a safety net for the time being.
