Happy Friday darlings!

What a miserable day!!!

Just thought I’d give a little Prince update. The old sod is doing very well. Bought him some second hand thermatex stable wraps to stop his legs filling and they are amazing! Keep his legs bone dry overnight too so I can brush the mud off in the mornings.

Was going through some old photos today and couldn’t quite believe the difference in Prince from when he arrived compared with now!

The scary thing is he I never realised quite how bad he was when he arrived. He was perfect in my eyes from the very beginning. Poor horse. But luckily he is back to full health now.

Apologies for yet more Prince photos ?????

Oh wow, what a difference. I am not a very emotional person, but I actually had a tear in my eye seeing that transformation and knowing your amazing story. That horse struck gold when he arrived with you, and as Red-1 says he will repay you many times over with the happiness that he brings.
Honestly thank you. You helped me so much Winters. I remember your support right from the start. Thank you xxx

Lovely, lovely, lucky boy and lovely, lovely owner. Always thrilled to see your posts about Prince, Keira. x
Thank you very much! I feel embarrassed to post so much about him but I can’t hold myself back!! ???? He has brought so much joy to us all. My 7 year old son picked his feet out tonight. I can’t believe how lucky we are xx

You can certainly be exceptionally proud of yourself and not embarrassed, your journey together has turned into a fairytale and he couldnt be more suitably named! He is one lucky boy

Keira, I'm still certain you were sold a pup by the previous owner. But I take my hat off to you for knocking his issues on the head one by one until you ended up with a Crufts champion.

I have never come across anyone who deserved it more.

Wow what a lovely lovely humbling thing to say - thank you very much indeed ?xxx

You have absolutely no idea what is normal when a person like you, struggling with a missold and misbought horse, posts as newcomer on this forum, have you?

Truly Keira, your humility and willingness to learn are one in a million. Add your MS to that mix and you become a person for whom my personal admiration knows no bounds.

Thank you so much YCBM. It’s been a long rocky old road! But the best thing I’ve ever done. I still remember how upset I was when I’d only had him for a few weeks and he broke his bailers twine to go and see another horse. People on the forum were so encouraging and now looking back, I know I have increased in confidence so much.

Just come back from the yard and he’s all tucked up with his hay. Can’t imagine life without him now. The smell of his rugs and muddy old boots! My friends on the school run (all of them beautiful and pristine at all times!) despair of me when I turn up smelling of the yard and with hay in my hair ☺️☺️☺️ But Ive never been happier! Xx
