Prince update!

Hi guys!

Hope you are all well and happy Tuesday ?

Prince and I had such a fun day today as you can probably tell from my maniac like smile in these pics!

Literally over the moon to have him well and happy - in the sunshine. Does it get any better than this???!!

We will never do a show or anything remotely exciting but I’m pretty sure the inner happiness I get from just bumbling around together is pretty hard to surpass!

Thanks Red-1! It’s honestly like a dream still - when does the novelty wear off???! Because it’s been almost a year since I’ve had him now and I still relish every morning ??

Thank you so much guys! This horse is just something else - like a kind old grand dad that knows I’m a bit shit but looks after me anyway. The whole phrase “one mans rubbish is another mans treasure” fits us very well I think. My lucky day when he got abandoned at a dealers yard ? He’s never changing home again now I have him!!!
I’m going to bed really excited to ride again tomorrow.

I don't know but when you find out will you let me know? I bought my first one in 1981.

It is so lovely to hear how happy you both are! I must admit when you posted about your challenges at the start I thought it could go either way, but you have stuck at it and done a great job with him. Prince is a very lucky chap.

And if you want to do a show, why on earth not? What you have achieved already should give you the confidence to try other things. Absolutely nothing wrong with continuing doing what you’re doing, but just go for it if you want to try something new!

Hope you are all well! P and I have had a very successful week working on transitions. Here we are working on a controlled trot - and also me trying to conquer my fear of being onboard and not focusing on “what could go wrong”!!
