How do you know that, again that is just further conspiracy, adding fuel to the fire driven by Al Fayed, yes he wants closure on the death of his son, but equally surely he (like many normal greiving parents) would want to greive in private & not on the front page of the sun, i personally beleive that Al Fayed has done his utmost to keep this in the press for as long as possible, becasue he was infatuated with the idea of Dodi marrying an English princess.

He has no respect for the royal family, and seems to have little concern for the welfare of William & Harry & the memories they share of thier mother.

We as british citizens know little about what really goes on, and why things happen, i'm persoanlly more conerned about the possible long term implications of the Russian Spys death than a tragic accident that happened 10 years ago.

Step into the real world, i think there are 101 more important things that need 'investgating' than this, What ever the cause of death, the outcome is the same, the lady is dead.

I understand what you and a few others are saying but like I said - everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Just because someone beleives something different to someone else does not make either of them right or wrong.

Does Al Fayed not have the right to try and find out what happened to his son?
Doe the princes not have the right to try and find out what happened to their mother?

I personally do not believe it was an accident but a cover up, however I am prepared to listen to other peoples opinions that may differ to my own.

of course everyone has a right, but does it REALLY need to be spread across every tabloid going?

Yes, William & Harry have a right to know, but surely this public flogging of the subject just makes it harder for them to move on and remember her as she was to them, rather than as a pawn in a media frenzy.

it is the media hype & frenzy that makes me so frustrated, rather than the actual facts/fiction of the case, what ever they may be IMO it does not need to be used to sell news papers, capitalising on the tragic death 10 years after the event is IMO a very sad thing, i would be devasated if a family member of mine was being used to sell papers.

Can I just ask.... if you want to kill someone.... why do it as a car accident ? You cant be sure who'll be killed and who will be injured (or even if anyone will be killed). How do you make a car accident happen ? Why do it in the middle of Paris and not somewhere more remote.

Why would the royal family care who she married ? She'd had relationships with loads of other people. The royal family has survived many many scandals, marriage breakups, and affairs.... not least the whole Charles and Diana thing. And it has more skeletons in the cupboard already than most families can accumulate in a century.

She died because her driver was drunk and was speeding. Anyone who thinks there's more to it than that has got too much time on their hands.

Of course Al Fayed and the boys deserve "closure" but what business is it of us as British Citizens?!! Its not the investigations I think are wrong- its the fact the press just wont leave it alone- wont let the family deal with it privatly, find there own closure and finally let PRINCESS Diana Rest In PEACE!!!!!!!

They won't leave it alone because it's a story that still sells well.

F_C I think that comment is very sweet, but do you think Alexandra L's murderers cared about who else was made ill through the Polonium 210? There are innocent people off of work due to being ill through contamination. Did his murderers consider them?

When somebody needs silencing those that are doing the silencing will never consider innocent people, they are just inconveniences that happen to be in the way, if they get hurt, they ge hurt.

Of course they would care who she married, she was the mother of the heir to the throne. I think alot of people are blinkered to what goes on in this country.

And Polonium poisoning was a real dumb form of assassination.

A load of hot air. Diana was a harmless bint. An unfortunate accident that deprived two lovely boys out of their mother.

The only other travesty was Mother Theresa left this world in the same week and got FA coverage cos of Diana's accident.

oh for goodness sake

'murder'

tosh

the (silly) cow was in a posh car with her 'bit on the side' being driven by a drunken idiot at an excessive speed

far more worthy people die in car crashes every day

the only good think about this ACCIDENT was that no innocent pedestians were killed at the same time

the silly woman is dead

Tbh - SO WHAT

[/ QUOTE ]

I can tell from your pretty rude reply that you don't like her. fair enough, but don't insult her. just gets people angry and upset - not surprising, as she was an amazing woman, not a 'silly' cow.

I agree with severnmiles... How do we know if what half we are told is actually true? It's good to have a questioning mind. Don't just accept things people tell you.

I don't believe it.

Honestly don't care. She wasn't a saint, she was a normal woman, who I had sweet FA to do with.

I dont know whether I dont believe it, or simply dont care. If true, I am sure there must be loads of similar things going on every day, to worry about something that happened 10 yrs ago seems a bit daft.
The nearest and dearest may have a right to know what really happened - but is it really that important seeing as nothing can be changed now?
