The other post was too long!
I would like to say that I advertised my horse on the site and he was sold with excellent results.
I advertised my horse on Project horses- he is in the 16.1hh-17hh section ref 1227 if anyone would like to look.
He is not a sh*t horse just one that was wrecked by a well known, international event rider as a 3 yrs old( he was the one that severnmiles was reffering to).
I am an experienced rider (BHSI) and I tried everything to sort his brain out- for 3 yrs- but we just couldn't gel and I put him on that site as I felt it was important to be honest when selling a horse with 'issues'.
This horse is a potential superstar but due to the fact he was 'overcooked' as a youngster he gets 'brain block' when pushed beyond what he feels are his limits.
I sold him for the price I paid for him(bearing in mind how much I have spent in livery, feed, training etc) and he is now with someone who seems to be working very well for her- he suits her style and she , so far, has not had any issues with him.
I believe that this site has a place in the market for people who are trying to be honest about selling horses which have issues or they simply can't manage- makes a change from people trying to rip you off!
