Right just a gushy, long post about my girlies. Have been on here a while but not really introduced myself.
I have 2 horses 2 year old Breeze (was 2 this may ) a strawberry roan and white coloured mare who is an appolosa x and looks to be going towards the lw cob end of the scale. I got her in August last year and a basically handled filly
Taken in october last year :
And i have Ruby who is rising 3, she is of unknown breeding on sires side, Dam was supposedly an ID x A friend ofa friend gave gifted Ruby after having a baby and no time to dedicate to her. Ruby is 14hh now and ive had her since november, just thinking about backing her, pictures taken in december
Now my other reason for posting is Breeze hadnt had her tet injections so i booked them in this week and ruby is prone to lice and a few had hatched on her so got her injected for them. Now Breeze is normally a cow to men !!! But vet went into barn with them, tet was in and out no movement from Breeze and she then had Vetromax?? for the lice too and she took one step back and one forward then stood like a rock and it must of stung cos she bled a but from it. I said to the vet wow she doesn't like men, he replied that she was the most polite, brave 2 year old he had ever seen ( he had seen me lead both the girls up the lane together and past a feed lorry and tractor without so much as evenlooking ) Ruby was a star i didnt even clip her on to the rope and she stood well for vet.
Next proud moment ..... the farm i keep them on is a dairy farm and some general busy bodies live there next too the girls field. The woman said that the horses looked poor and wanted to report them
so i asked the vet, he laughed and said "ive been and put down a few ponies so riddled ith laminitus already this year, seeing 2 fit, healthy and slim youngsters is a welcome break" he said you can see my mare is a 2 year old and laughed when i said i got her as she was to make 14.2/15 hh max (shes standing at 15.2 and half

and has grown 2 hands since i got her in september) he told me to keep doing whatever im doing as it works and i have 2 shiny happy horses who behave themselves (most of teh time)
Took these pictures on weds
