Well today my pony decieded she knew how to half pass in a very fashionable manner .. not only in walk , but in trot and canter

So yes , I am a very proud owner today , friend was very jealous that her horse (who is working Medium) had taken along time to pick it up and that Sol just took it all in her stride

Well anyway ... no doubt she'll be a witch to hack in the morning but today ended on a high

*Disclaimer* Please criticise what I have posted (without a very good reason .. like - you've ridden Sol and know she's dog lame etc..) because I can promise you I have followed the vets word to the letter (even the dot on the i's !)

Thanks Chick, but the fact is, I'm not going to get told Be is ever going to be suitable for proper work and jumping again - her fetlock joint is too far gone, and I need to accept that. I just need to make sure that she is happy, and make the joint stable so that it doesn't get as aggravated again, and hope to have a baby or few out of her.

A year ago the prospect of her not being rideable was the most awful, inconceivable thing I could have pictured, but everything that has happened since has taught me otherwise,

there are many, many more awful things that can happen, and yet we are still here to cuddle one another.

Needless to say, I am so very sad, and disappointed, but the last year has prepared me for this... So, we have to concentrate on the positives; we're both still alive, despite the odds, and both still love each other and share love and smiles, and shall do for years to come *touch wood*

very happy and smug as it appears horsie is not half as bad as i thought he was and its really all just my fault lol Which is fine as i can be fixed! (i hope lol)
