Been reading this thread and its made me cry so much, RuthM I do understand what you mean.To pass peacefully as possible , quickly and pain free is what I would want for all those I love and hold dear, as death is something we all must face.We buried my grandmother yesterday, she was 97 yrs old.I was,nt sad that she had passed away, rather glad that she was now pain free and hopefuly in a better place.She was nearly blind, deaf , and unable to walk, every time I saw her she told me she prayed that god would come and take her.She passed quickly in the end and it was a blessing.Doing the right thing for those we care about and love is so hard, hope your doing ok today , seeing him suffer must have been so hard, you have saved him from that x
