Just a little update . He seems to be settling into our routine well . The cats are being good with him and the horses just ignore him . He’s quite happy to be around them ( he goes in a pen so it’s allowed near the hooves etc . He just watches them quite happily for now ) He really enjoys coming into my office in the morning with me . Loves a good snooze on his bed , which is rather nice as Wallace refused to sleep on any bed . It’s lovely to see him all comfy and cozy ?ACD665AB-5466-43D3-87B2-83783FD717B7.jpeg

What a handsome boy
Thanks for sharing those , he was a fabulous stamp , just gorgeous. I hope my flump turns out as nice . Love the photo of him in the water as I can’t wait until Stirling is old enough for a trip to the beach

Thank you both! He was a very handsome boy, such a character! He adored water, any excuse to get wet or go for a paddle.. When I first got him I was a groom and he came to work with me. I often had to bath him before heading home as he thought the end of the day was the perfect time to go for a dip in the hay bath run off water that collected by the muck heap… Man I miss that big brown face!

I hope you have as many happy years with Stirling OP, I’ve no doubt he’ll love the beach when he’s old enough to go!

I reckon Stirling is going to be a huge character ?. Is he named after the Scottish town?

He is indeed . My husband is a bit of a Scottish fan, hence Wallace being named after William Wallace, we love Stirling its a beautiful place, we have many happy memories there. So it just seemed right to keep the Scottish / wallace theme going.

His character is definitely coming out, hes a real joker very brave and loves a cuddle:)

Adorable, we have had show labs and they are always flumps as pups. We have a new cavalier pup this week and the amount of grub in her bowl looks teeny compared to our lab

Ive always wanted a show type lab, the term flumps seems a perfect fit for them :) Do you have any photos of your new puppy ?

Thought I’d do a little update .

He’s an absolute little treasure. Has fitted into our lives perfectly.
He’s been out on a small walk down the lane , which he’s getting more confident with everyday. Been out to the pet store and met a few other dogs . So far he’s doing grand . Toilet training is getting there, but his sit/stay/leave it / come is actually very good !
Same bed 4 weeks apart , so growing well .
I’m amazed at how cuddly he is . Just loves to snuggle right up to you .

Last photo showing he’s getting better with the cats ?
