Ok so as most of you know I have a lovely little 4 month old Border Terrier bitch, we have had her from 8 weeks and she is generally a well rounded little girl.

Except OH spoils her rotten, and Betsy therefore adores daddy :rolleyes:

I was and generally am still the primary carer for her, we walk 3 times a day have play time and I feed her if its just me in..... so she should listen to me yes?? no.

Her recall in the garden has been brilliant for her age, more so with OH, but tonight she is just completely ignoring me and I am feeling very pathetic and girly about it all!

So.... how can I bribe back my baby doggys attention? Or should I settle for OH being her main 'master'?

On the plus side... she is far far far more mouthy with OH because I simply do not tolerate it, he is soft as muck and rarely says no her her hairy little face!

Btw.. I am fully aware that this is a very pathetic wimpy post, im a hormonal mess!
 
I want her to like me more!! Its not fair *throws childish tantrum*

I wsh I could sit her down with a bank statement so she could see how much she blo*dy costs me...
 
Simples. Heres how you get a dog to go off someone..

Make your OH take the dog to the vet. I had a sustained 24 hour "I no longer love you" from younger staff after last Friday and his stay in the vet!
 
I was going to say that with the food - although when you say "bribe back" ... you're talking about a terrier remember :P
 
I don't want to rain on your parade but you could run into training issues if you are not on the same page as your OH and are both not consistent.
