3Beasties

We have got 6 family members coming to stay for 5 days over Xmas. I have a cunning plan to get some help with my beasties from my 12 year old cousin

I am going to 'loan' her my 17 Year old TB as a special xmas pressie
He is very well mannered so I thought that I could get her more involved by letting her look after him herself for the time she is here. Bringing in, turning out, rugging, feeding, mucking out etc. Obviously she will be very closely supervised and I will have to show her how to do some thing but she loves the horses (none horsey family) and always wants to help me with them so I think it's something she will really enjoy and it will help me out too. I'm sure her parents will be thankful if I make her realise that horses are hard work

What do you think? Stupid, irresponsible idea or a good way of involving the younger generation?
Will you be getting your family involved over Xmas?
