I think I put the title right
Im not trying to be nasty to my YO but he is 80 odd and has 7 horses only three of these horses have a fair life. The other horse are riddled with thrush, abscesses and locked away all day. One pony suffers from laminates and is basically starved. The to oldies are feed by one of his paying liverys and one was so skinny someone had called the rspca and apparently they said she looked find but did not remove the heavy weight rug that she had on all summer. so if it wasn't for the customer feeding this horse it would not make the winter.the horse with bad feet can hardly walk and has suffers for 2yrs and at one stages was always lying down in the field as was so uncomfortable, she was then stuck in her box for weeks and lost loads of condition but when we mentioned this all he replied was theres nothing wrong with her and he plans to put her in foal she can hardley carry her own weight. The stallion has no life and is out a hour a day never gets brushed or any attention. There feet have not been seen to for 4months at the most and some are still holding on to shoes just.also the little pony with laminates became bad that she would hardly stand that it took the same customer to call vet and pay for treat me as could no longer see the pony suffer. He would rather have all his horses like this than less horses in better health. How can I just stand back and watch his horses end up like this? You can't tell the yard owner as he thinks there all great and sound. It's shocks me. I'm not trying to be nasty towards him but he's horses would be amazing if treated
