Just wondering if anyone can help me out with a question?
My mare is a nightmare when not in season. I have had the vet and tried regumate, which didn't help at all in fact it made her worse.
When she is in season she is so sweet, she clearly has a hormonal problem as her cycle is very strange, she will come into season in winter and sometimes for a couple of days sometimes longer than a week.
So just a question on hormonal suppliments or such like. I am sure she has too much Pogesterone and not enough estrus/LH, but is there a way to suppliment either of these hormones or supress a small amount of Pogesterone? or am I way off the mark and its a different hormone all together? I am sooo
Its really difficult to find anything on the internet that is easy to read and understand. There is lots of info for horses that need more Pogesterone (using regumate etc) But nothing about the other way around.
Any help would be great
Thanks
