Would it be detrimental to feed a horse who isnt prone to laminitis, but gains weight very easily, something like happy hoof(or something designed for lami's)?
I only ask as my boy looks at food and puts weight on.. He is out at night and in during the day.. he is out on not much grass, and has his hay double netted during the day. And his feed is tiny, but he is still fat (imo).
I was thinking of putting him on something like this... http://www.allenandpage.com/Products/Rest-and-Light-Work/Slim-and-Healthy.aspx but not sure on chaff... hmm.. any ideas welcome!
