When viewing a horse would you ride a horse that the owner wouldnt, even if they had a 'good reason?'

Nope. My golden rule- I dont ride anything that somebody else wont, no matter what the reason. I learnt to use that rule the hard way! Dont do it!!

depends what the good reason was...but i do think they should arrange for someone else to ride it surely? unless its not broken in of course!

Haha thanks

& do you think i should wear my body protector? I must admit i dont usualy wear it but kind of feeling i should haha

No I would never get on a horse I have not seen ridden, especially if it's owned by somebody I don't know! I didn't ride a body protector when I tried Genie, but if you think you need to wear it and would be more relaxed wearing it then put it on!

Haha well im viewing a few horses that are apparently 100% and that novices can ride, but ya never know these days! lol x

I went to view horse for my 15 year old daughter asked owner to ride it and she refused.Once i pushed for her reasons she told me she had broken her back falling off but was quite happy for my daughter to ride.I think not lol

The answer should be, "I wouldn't!", right?

I was the first person to sit on the spooky pony in over a year...had no idea what he'd be like...didn't have a school to try him in, just a short forest path...

...and he promptly dumped me in a mud puddle spooking at something (at the walk), and I sprained my thumb.

Oddly enough, I took him home with me soon thereafter...

In retrospect, I may be classed as insane.

Absolutely not - I made this mistake once when the teenage daughter refused to ride him as she was 'shy'... I got fly bucked off in 1 second and hurt my back.
