Very sad for all concerned, especially Stacey whose love and admiration shone through in her reports of his adventures, and his relatively new jr rider, who must have been looking forward to great new adventures with him. Bizarrely, someone was talking about it yesterday and I thought how sad for the kid, without putting the pieces together.
