I have been told by one of the girls at work about a race recently where a 2 year old was leading by quite some distance then didn't like being in front so started to pull up, waited for the whole pack to go passed. then re pasted them all to win the race. all i know is it was a 2 yr old racing on the flat i believe it was a colt/gelding but that could be wrong. does anyone know what i am talking about? i would love to see the video but without the horses racing name i can't seem to get anywhere

No idea about the 2 year old thing, but Tony McCoy was riding a horse called Drill Sergant over hurdles at Haydock I believe a few weeks back and it did exactly what you are describing - it was about 15 lengths in front, stopped coming past the stables, he sat quiet on it and when everything else had passed it it started up again and won. You can watch the race on Attheraces I think.
