Huge congratulations to her. I hope you hit the fizzy! And a good news story from racing this week - my niece trained a winner at Leopardstown!
Somebody was putting the money on - no idea who backed him down, not me/them or owner. He was 16's in the morning and went off at 4-1!Huge congratulations to her. I hope you hit the fizzy!
I hadn't realised she was your niece. Congratulations! And a good news story from racing this week - my niece trained a winner at Leopardstown!
Yes and hopefully a good telling off by owner and trainer. Trainer is point to point or permit not licensed. As an amateur think that’s twelve days when there are amateur races. Not sure of exact way it works. I’m sure would’ve been a much longer ban for a professional jockey and hopefully a professional would’ve pulled up. Edited to add, have just watched it, hadn't realise horse was quite so tired. This isn't a great look for the sport; believe jockey did get a ban.
I assume Ryan’s riding as Oisin is on a ban

Lots of prize money and a depleted cardCalandangan, a French trained racehorse has flown to Dubai, to take part in a race at the end of March…
I find that very surprising….
Why? Several flew out there this week from various countries to raceCalandangan, a French trained racehorse has flown to Dubai, to take part in a race at the end of March…

Because the war seems to be escalating and I would have thought it might be not as easy or safe to fly them home…Why? Several flew out there this week from various countries to race
