i have just found a small amount in one of my paddocks, luckly not where the horses graze,i have been told that roundup will kill it is this true also how long before thay can use the paddock thanks
Round up will kill it but I've found you need to use 3 times the normal doseage rate and it does take weeks to take it down. Fine if you can keep the horses off for a couple of months.
Plus side is it won't come back.
I used it this year because dispite digging every piece out with a ragfork it was coming back twice as hard.
..... don't take it to the tip! There's always a risk of a few seeds escaping. SET FIRE TO IT once you have dug it up! Mind you, if you can get a fork into the ground at the moment you're stronger than I am!
