Hi All,
A bit of an odd one but my horse has a swollen vein on the right side of his face. It happened last year sometime and just went down on it's own after a couple of days.
I'm inclined to just give it a couple of days again but with it being bank holiday don't really want to be stuck with an emergency call out fee if i can help it!
I will of course call the vet if it looks any worse when i go and check on him after work but i was just wondering if any of you had come across this before? It seems to be tender when touched but apart from that he is fine in himself, bright, breathing normally, grazing, drinking, pooing etc
The midges are particularly bad at the minute but i can't see or feel a bite anywhere near it (same as last time it happened)
Anybody seen this before?
