Has anyone tried using these underneath non Rambo Duo's???

I have a Rambo rug (NOT Duo) and was thinking of buying a 100g liner as an extra layer.

Any thoughts on this?

I think the new Rhinos now have the fittings to take duo liners as well.

Not strictly relevant, but just in case...

Anyway, I use the LW amigo stable rug instead. I thought about getting a duo liner to go under my MW Rambo but decided against it - I was concerned that it might slip about particularly on a windy day. The LM amigo is only 150g and fits in the washing machine too.

I use a Premier Equine rug liner under normal rugs. Never had it slip yet and my horse has tested it quite well in the field!
I just clip the rear clips onto the rings of the fillet string and it holds it in place. It has velcro patches on the front that I think attach to front rings of duo type rugs but have never used them.

Hello you!

On a similar note, I had a PE trio rug, but being lazy I could never be bothered fitting the velcro tabs on the neck piece each time I put a different weight liner in so just velcro round the breast and clips on the fillet string and it never slipped.

Have now bought a WB Orican heavyweight and a WB tristar liner as the beast has expanded, not yet used them in combination but don't forsee a problem. x
