Are they worth the money, do we think? Considering one for the mare but ? at the price! Don't want to regret it.

If you have one I'd really appreciate seeing a photo of it on your horse, I always find it helps to see them on real life horses rather than the marketing pictures.

I bought my first one over 11 yrs ago and is still in very good condition. I hardly use the liners though, I have found that the rhino rugs take the liners so now buy rhino no fill and you can add the liners to them if needed

I really like the Rambo Duo. It is one of my most used rugs. I use the liners a lot too. I just don't find the Rhino's as hard wearing.

I have a duo (and 2 supremes and an original... but I do have 5 horses ?)
They are all excellent.
The duo is a nice in betweeny weight just on it's own without a liner.

The coloured sports mare is in her Duo, no liner, and the bay chunky IDx is in her 100g fill Original, which as milliepops says is the same cut. The Rambos fit both horses well.

ETA The front fastening is the surefit design. It is not adjustable, but it is a very robust and forgiving fit.

I have my ISH and Fell pony both in the Duo. They dont move, dont rub and last brilliantly. Definitely worth the money however I did cheat and buy mine secondhand.

I have a duo and I have used it for over 3 years with no problems. I found it fit my horse like a mini skirt and did slip to one side so I splashed out on an optimo in the Boxing Day sales and I can honestly say I far prefer the optimo fit! It doesn’t slip to the side and it’s deep enough for him too. I did go a iz smaller on the optimo to the duo and the fit is perfect! I got mine from edgemere equestrian online shop.

The chestnut on the left (with the horses insisting on eating from the same hay pile) is in her Duo. It was bought circa 2006 and has had one replacement clip and really needs one of the surcingle clips putting in a vice as it has pulled out of shape a bit, it's still perfectly usable and waterproof. I do like Horseware rugs and have a selection. The second photo (with the hay feeder) shows a Rhino Wug, an Amigo and another Rhino Wug. The horses in the photos are an anglo-arab, two purebred arabs and a big shouldered NH bred TB. They all fit the rugs really well despite the no adjustment at the chest, but I do go up a size compared to some other makes or their bottoms stick out at the back a bit too much.

I have 2 duos that are probably over 10 years old. Both still in use today.

I have just bought a Rhino lightweight with neck cover and again, a really good quality nice rug.

Yes they are ££££ but you really do get what you pay for and I dont think I've ever found a rug that fits the horses and performs outstandingly like Horseware Rambo/Rhino.

Am I correct in thinking that the front fastenings aren't adjustable? Looking at the pictures they don't appear to be?

As others have said the front is not adjustable but I have never had any problems. The Rambo's seem to fit most shape of horse.

This. They are the only front fastenings that I like. I've never had any rub or be too tight/big.

Personally I hate the trigger clips but some people love them.
