"The Rambo Flymask Plus Vamoose. The ultimate fighting machine in the battle against the summertime flies! The extremely durable textilene fabric is held away from the senstive eye area with a flexible feature that corrects itself if the horse rolls so provides the extreme in eye protection. The soft fleece edging is treated with Vamoose which is a synthetically engineered form of Permethrin which is a natural repellent typically used against mosquitos. An extra detachable nose cover features to help prevent burning on this softest of areas. This Seasonal must have provides UV protection as well as keeping those irritating flies away so the horse can graze or just relax in total comfort."

Anyone tried them? I need new masks as velcro dying? Wondering if these any good? Have seen for £26? Do they stay on, not rub, last well?

Thanks

I've got one of these, having upgraded from the Amigo style ones. I think it's brilliant, there is loads of clearance for the eyes, ears are generously sized but not ridiculous, snug fit but no rubbing around the jaw. Not sure if the vamoose treatment adds anything tbh but I think the design is excellent :) Mine is in it's 3rd year I think, though my horse is pretty compliant with fly masks and doesn't try to get them off.

I love mine. I hate seeing my horses eye lashes squashed to his face! Looks really uncomfortable.
The Rambo one stays on, has never rubbed and just does as its supposed to, Id def buy another.

I paid £38 for mine, my horse wore it for 2 days and got it off numerous times (never usually gets masks off). It also rubbed his eyebrow area on both sides. Unfortunately I was really disappointed. It has now been washed and is being sold!
